Medford Update

We are enjoying our trip so much. Mario and Linda are very good hosts (except they are supposed to let us do more of the work). Today we went to church, their ward is in Jacksonville a historic town about 10 - 15 minutes away. Afterward we went on a drive in the area to look around. Jacksonville is full of beautiful historic mansions that mostly are now bed and breakfasts. One seems to be just as grand as the next. The down town has all of the old fashioned store fronts with lots of galleries and restaurants. Adam enjoyed seeing the many deer that were just wandering around on the grassy hillsides--or down the streets.

Jacksonville has a really old cemetery so we drove around looking at some of the interesting headstones.

We also drove by the temple which is only about 3 miles from the Aguirre home.

And of course we took lots more pictures of Adam and Tyler!

Saturday was Adam's third birthday. Besides a brother he got a big boy bike. He was really excited about that. He also had a friend over and they broke a pinata. Life is pretty good when you are Adam.

Sounds like in the first sentence you are bummed you aren't doing more work - you could always come home Thursday - there will be lots of work at your dad's house this weekend. :)
