Lithia Park

We decided to take a drive down the road to Ashland. Ashland is famous for being an art community and having a regular Shakespear festival. We thought that might be a good place to people watch and maybe even spot some hippies. So... after a great lunch at Kaleidescope pizza we headed off to Ashland. Our favorite place there was Lithia Park. It is a large beautiful park with paths, lots of flowers, a playground, duck pond and a big stream running through it. They cemented in parts of the stream and surrounded it with large boulders so that kids can wade in the water.
Laura took Adam in the stream with her and they had a great time. Adrian and I had fun watching them. Especially when Laura, who was so careful not to get her capris wet, slipped and fell flat on her behind in the water.
The kids also had fun on the rock wall.
