Babies And More Babies

Friday night my sisters and I had planned a baby shower for Caitlin (Cat) my nephew’s wife. It was quite a big affair. Our family has quite a reputation of putting on some pretty great parties and receptions so we felt that we needed to live up to that reputation. We had about 35ish guests and of course tons of fancy foods to eat. We had some excitement when Pam decided to open the BBQ on the back porch (see Mike and Pam’s Blog for details) I do however need to add that in all of my life I have never heard Pam scream as loud as she did on Friday.

Jennifer made the cake; she was worried about it because she only had about a half hour to decorate it before leaving for work. Of course it turned out very cute and everyone loved it.

Karen planned some really fun games. One of the games you had to guess what was in the diaper. Each diaper had a different kind of melted candy bar. We got a kick out of watching people sniff and taste what looked to be a very dirty diaper.

Cat got so many wonderful things from all of her friends and family. I think she should be just about ready to have Logan. I think that our family is once again in the baby boom phase!!

What an adorable cake! And I love the fruit skewers. It's really too bad about the rat; I can never step foot in the house again.....
